Terms of Service
The short version: this is a private, single-user application. It is not offered to the public, comes with no warranty, and is not affiliated with Oura Health Oy.
1. Nature of the application
adamsringdata (the "application") is a personal software project operated by a single individual (the "operator") for the sole purpose of accessing and analyzing the operator's own Oura Ring data. It is not a commercial product, a public service, or an offering of any kind to third parties.
2. Eligibility and use
Use of the application is limited to the operator. No other person is granted any right to access or use the application. Any authorization of additional Oura accounts, should it ever occur, is at the operator's sole discretion and remains private and non-commercial.
3. Relationship to Oura
The application accesses data through the official Oura API under Oura's developer terms. It is an independent project: it is not created, operated, sponsored, or endorsed by Oura Health Oy, and "Oura" is a trademark of Oura Health Oy used here only to describe interoperability.
4. Data
Handling of personal data is described in the accompanying Privacy Policy. In brief: the application accesses only the operator's own data, stores it locally, and shares it with no one.
5. No warranty
The application is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It is a hobby project; it may break, lose data, or stop working at any time.
6. Not medical advice
The application processes wellness data for personal curiosity and analysis. Nothing it produces is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it should not be relied upon for health decisions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator accepts no liability arising from the application's use. As the application's only user is the operator, any loss is borne solely by the operator.
8. Changes and termination
The operator may modify or discontinue the application at any time without notice. If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this address with a revised effective date.
